Painter

Mireya born in Caracas is an architect and an artist. Her artistic inclination and interests in design inspired her to attain courses and workshops in order to learn the use and applications of colors in architecture, sculptures and paintings. She obtained a scholarship to study a masters degree in architecture at the Royal College Art of London. During this time, she participated in various art workshops in which she experimented with various graphic techniques such as: engraving, silkscreen and lithography. At the same time, she discovered the plasticity of the glass and ceramics along with the possibilities of the use of colors and other forms of artistic expression. Mireya participated in different gallery exhibitions to show her paintings, ceramics and sculptures in Venezuela, London and Alicante, where she lives and continues producing her pieces.
