Neda Caleta

Sculptor

Born in Caracas, Neda has always been interested in any form of art whether it was music, theater or dance. Caleta, graduated as an audiovisual producer and director with ample trajectory in theater, movies and TV commercials.

Always interested in learning, in 2007 she started experimenting with sculpture studies and it was the perfect way to express and share her emotions with those who will, later on, admire or acquire her creations. From 2007 to 2010 she studies with the professor and sculptor Mildred Veitia and from 2010 to 2014 she studied with the professor and sculptor Dora Gabay.

In 2012 Caleta started her first series called emotions, and specifically with the piece called “The Destiny is in Your Hands” she discovered the public acceptance and connection with her pieces. She was pleasantly surprised to witness her passion meeting the public recognition which allowed her to have the emotional connection needed to continue her creations. Other series have been created: “Objetos Enamorados”, “Inspiracion” and “Natura.”

She is inspired by her daily emotions and her slogan is “Emotions becoming Art. Her creative process continues and her goal is to make, through her pieces, an emotional connection with those who will visit galleries or stores where her pieces are exhibited, furthermore motivating them to make the pieces their own.
